November Targeted Devotional Prayers

Lord, in everything we give thanks. Our hearts become vulnerable to your goodness as we praise and worship You. Thanksgiving puts our focus on you and creates an environment you love to inhabit. 

We rejoice always and in everything we choose to give you thanks. When we choose to respond to difficult situations with thanksgiving, rejoicing, praise and trust, we turn the tables on the enemy and align ourselves with your goodness. 

We practice thanksgiving with the goal of making it our default position in all opposition. When we step into rejoicing and thanksgiving we experience upgrades in our intimacy with you, in our trust, and in our peace, rest and stillness. 

Lord, this is not an easy task, but we make a commitment to practice thanksgiving, knowing it's our access point into your presence. Thank you for guiding us in this endeavor! Amen.

Lord, I want to hang out with you more!  Help my passions to be directed by you, so our time together will be spectacular and constant.  I want to be so close to you that our heartbeats are in sync.  My desire is that I will be available to you 24/7.  I know you are always available to me, but I want to give that to you in return.  Help me!

I will follow your eyes for direction.  Where you look, I will look and see things from your perspective.  Lord, heal my eyesight to be just like yours!

I am asking for a love affair with you that increases intimacy and trust.  I am willing to take the time to make that happen but know I need your guidance and help along the way.  I love and adore you!   Amen

Lord, in moments when I am facing things that are so powerfully opposing me, I choose to surrender my heart and soul to you. I am unable in my own strength to face what is opposing me, but I can do all things through the Spirit of God, who is my strength.

I choose, in this moment, to turn my heart of affections towards you and say, I trust you. I pray for the gift of your peace to flood my life. I pray that the power of your peace will crush all the chaos that is swirling around my mind, in Jesus name. Amen.

We come and rest at your feet Lord. We accept your invitation to live in life-union with you and to live by the impulses of your spirit. 

We are so thankful for your joy that lives within us, and that that joy is our strength. 

We invite the oil of your Spirit to flood us internally and wash all over us. We choose your love, to embrace your peace and to pursue your rest, Lord.  Let us never tire of the simple pleasure of choosing to delight in you.

We love you and are so grateful to be your Beloved. Amen

Lord, you and you alone, are who I want to focus on. My thoughts run rampant sometimes and I need your help to control them. I want to think with a kingdom perspective so when the tough times come, I have my mind set on you.

Help me to capture every thought that does not have you as its sponsor. This is my prayer Lord, to keep my thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. I am choosing your way of thinking.

The outcome you have promised is an untroubled heart and to be filled with your presence of peace. Thank you for those incredible gifts. Amen.
