October Targeted Devotional Prayers

The one thing we crave, the one thing we seek above all else is the privilege of living with You every moment of our lives. Open Your grace fountain for us Lord, for You are our soul’s true shelter. We hide beneath the shadow of Your embrace. 

Though it lingers, we will wait for it, for it will certainly come and will not delay. We love Your tenderness with the dreams and desires in our heart. We partner with You in hope knowing our dreams are at the forefront of Your mind as You breathe life into them. We trust You and we invite You to resurrect hope and dreams in our hearts today.   

We practice hope throughout the little things in our day. We choose to live in the joy of promises fulfilled before the day of breakthrough comes. We position ourselves to feast today on the goodness of tomorrow. We magnify You above all else.

Holy Spirit, You are a massive Helper to us. You are our Friend, our Helper, our Confidant and our Counselor. You are so good at Your job and we love You for it. Our prayer is that we would rely on You more and more as we find ourselves spending more time falling in love with You.

We love that You are a God of miracles. You gift us Your presence and Your strength to renew our spirit. You are the God of sudden breakthrough and the heavens are pregnant with blessings ready to be released to us as we move towards You in faith, hope and trust. 

Today we let a new song erupt from our heart, deep in our spirit out of our great love for You. This new song will release refreshing, renewing, reparation and restoration as we take the time to stop and worship You.

We choose to live in true faith, committing our perspective to the superior reality of Your kingdom over the inferior realm of our natural circumstances. What You declare is the highest level of truth and that’s where we anchor our faith. 

Thank You for giving us the Holy Spirit who never fails to dispense fresh hope. We cherish the encouragement of Holy Spirit knowing that with encouragement comes the supernatural courage to face any circumstance with renewed faith, hope and strength. We align ourselves for the outpouring of Your Spirit. Send us fresh rain Lord. Refresh, renew and invigorate our hearts with the outpouring of Your precious Spirit.

We love Your Word Lord. We meditate on it day and night so we can follow all that is written in it. We allow Your Word to penetrate our heart, our dreams, our imaginations and our prayers, and as we do, we will make our way prosperous and will have good success.

We treasure and ponder Your promises in our heart. We gladly receive and nurture the Word You have planted in us. We choose to store up treasures in Heaven where nothing can steal them. 

We are Your Beloved; Your inheritance. We are the joy that brings joy to Your heart and You are radically pursuing us. We turn our heart towards You and rest in Your heart of affection for us.

When You look at us, there is nothing in Your heart but joy, delight and love. You have peace about where we are in life because You know how You will walk with us every step of the way. Every day we start from a place of being absolutely and completely accepted as Your Beloved. 

This acceptance has nothing to do with performance but is a relational gift from You, acquired by Your sacrifice for us. 

You empower us for victory with Your wrap-around Presence. We love Your gentle voice. Continue to increase our hearing because it releases such peace in our lives and opens the door for us to be still and know You are God. May Your gentle voice soak all the dry places with Your love.
