August Targeted Devotional Prayers

Jesus, overwhelm this reader with your love, your grace, your mercy, and your presence. Let the words, ‘every part of you is beautiful to me’ be received in their whole heart.   

Release the truth that they truly are the beloved of God, and that he loves to be with them. He is romancing you into encounters with him, because he loves you, he likes you and he wants to always be with you. 

My prayer is that I would fall more and more in love with you. I long to be found hanging out with you; learning to live with you, learning to hear you, learning to be with you, learning to walk with you, learning to listen and be obedient to you. 

I am your beloved and want to let myself be loved by you. Amen

I am hungry for Your Presence Lord. There are so many things my heart could cry out for, but my heart cries out I want to see You, I want to behold You, and I want to become like you. I simply will not be satisfied with anything less than that. 

Lord, it always amazes me how much you love me. It astonishes me how you long to be a part of every single thing I am involved in, because you love me so much. You long for me to invite you to be involved in every part of my life, and I make a commitment to acknowledge you and invite you into every part of my life.

I love You Lord.  

Thank You Father that You are on a radical pursuit of each one of us, because not only do you love us, but you actually like us and want to hang out with us. You created us because You wanted someone to love.  

Let every one of us experience your joy, your smile, your pleasure over us right now. Increase our awareness of you, and help us to know, by experience, over and over again and again, that we are truly your Beloved.

Thank You Lord that you are My helper, that you guard and guide me, and that you are my keeper. I love how even in the midst of earthquake conditions I can abide in a place of supernatural peace, rest and stillness.  

I am so thankful for your blessings that cause my face to shine with your presence, and as people see my walking in such peace, rest, stillness and hope in times of difficulty, they are in awe of you, because of who they see of you, in me. 

Thank you Lord, Amen.

Father, I am so grateful that you sent the Holy Spirit not just to visit with us, not just to come upon us and touch us powerfully, but to actually inhabit us. Thank you that the Holy Spirit has come in and made me a temple for Him. That is my secret place. I thank you that you hide me in that secret place of your presence. 

Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you continue to reveal the hidden traps of the enemy for me and that you break off all lies and accusations of the enemy from my heart, so they have no negative effects. Thank You Lord, Amen.
