February Targeted Devotional Prayers

Father, I am asking that You speak very loudly to every reader, that they are yours and there is no weapon formed against them that could ever prosper. Cause us to stand up on the inside and begin to resist the enemy at every point in our lives, by simply yielding to you. Let us feel your love so deeply in our heart as we stand strong against everything that comes against us.

Teach us to look beyond the natural circumstances of life and see into the realm of the spirit. As we do, flood our hearts with peace that passes all understanding, and let that peace and rest cause us to stand up strong in faith. Even if we don’t understand what’s going on, we will trust you. Amen.

Jesus, you are the Lord of my life. You are my shepherd and my best friend. I love how you love me. I love how you are always there for me. I love how you care for me. I love how you always take me to Jesus and flood me with his love. 

I thank you that you shield me, guide me, and protect me, and give me a resting place in the luxurious love of God. Thank you for transporting me to an oasis of peace and a quiet brook of bliss, and help me to be refreshed in beautiful, restful waters. 

I choose to be renewed and restored by you completely!

Lord, my prayer is that we would know, by experience, the reality that no weapon formed against us can prosper. Teach us that as we abide in you there is nothing that can touch us, there is nothing that can work against us. Help us to know that we crush things that get in our way, because we are the people of God.

As we lean on you, I pray you rise up on the inside of us and begin to resist the enemy at every point in our lives, on our behalf. And I pray, because of you, that we all will break free from the assault of the enemy against our minds. Our faith will rise as you teach us how to see beyond the natural circumstances of our life, and as you teach us how to see into the realm of the Spirit. We ask all of this in Jesus name, amen.

Holy Spirit, our desire is to simply hang out with you, learning how to live with you, learning to hear you, learning how to be with you, learning how to walk with you, learning how to listen and be obedient to you.

Our desire is to be a people who can stand under any pressure; and that no matter what the enemy throws at us it simply makes us bigger, better, stronger, more fit and ready, because all those things cause me to stand stronger in your presence.

Lord, will you come and imprint your own heart and character in each one of our lives? Would you come and live in us in a fresh way, so that we could be the very model and example of who you are? We want people in the world looking at us to know and understand the very nature of who you are, because of who they see of you, in my life. Amen.

Holy Spirit, I thank you that you walk with us through the good and the bad. That you walk with us on the mountain and in the valley. And your commitment is never less than 100% because that is who you are. I pray for every person reading these words today, that whatever opposition they are facing right now, would draw them closer into deeper places of intimacy.

Touch their hearts. Touch their souls. Release shalom over their minds, and bring them peace. Take each reader to a place where your presence so overwhelms them that their circumstances would diminish in power. Your comfort, Holy Spirit, would be so strong and so profound that they would be lifted above anything that would attempt to rob them of peace.
