March Targeted Devotional Prayers

Holy Spirit, thank you that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in you. You reside in us, so we reside in righteousness, peace and joy. Thank you for peace, and that as we abide in you, you will connect us with Jesus, the Prince of Peace. And as we keep our mind on him, you will release a double shalom in our life.  

Lord, every place in our life that is under the spirit of depression or discouragement, I pray that the spirit of joy would invade every area and release strength into us. Amen.

Holy Spirit, thank you that you are our comforter.  I pray for every person in need of comfort, that you reveal yourself as their comforter. 

May every person experience comfort, a freedom from distress and stress in this moment. As they abide in you, and as the spirit of comfort rises in, on and through us, I pray that your comfort crushes everything that opposes it. I pray we experience your comfort tangibly.

Spirit of comfort please touch hearts, comfort souls, and release shalom over every mind, and bring  peace. Take each one of us to a place where your presence so overwhelms us and where our circumstances would diminish in power, and where your comfort, Holy Spirit, would be so strong and so profound that each one of us would be lifted above anything that would attempt to rob us of peace. 

Thank you Lord. Amen.

Father, thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit, who abides in me, and in whom I abide. His power is what allows me to invade realms that my circumstances and situations have labeled impossible. But nothing is impossible when I live in your power.

Thank you, that your power allows me to stand strong in faith, trust and hope, because your power releases the faith of endurance that allows me to yield and surrender to the power of your spirit.

All of this comes out of a place of intimacy with you so I pray Holy Spirit, please bring me to a place where no power could ever successfully oppose me, and I would live in an upgraded level of intimacy with you. Amen.

Holy Spirit, my goal is to live my life with an on-going engagement, an on-going intimate closeness and friendship with You. I know everything is built on a relationship with you.  So draw near to me and I will draw near to you.

I am thankful you love me so outrageously. I am thankful that you are my friend, my helper, my guide, my strength.  My desire is to know you more and more and more. I want to have encounters with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That this explosive, earth-shattering, world changing power would surge through me so I could release your Kingdom everywhere I go.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for revealing Father’s heart to me as we draw closer together.  May today be a day that is like no other!  Amen.

Father, I am asking that You speak very loudly to every reader, that they are yours and there is no weapon formed against them that could ever prosper. Cause us to stand up on the inside and begin to resist the enemy at every point in our lives, by simply yielding to you. Let us feel your love so deeply in our heart as we stand strong against everything that comes against us.

Teach us to look beyond the natural circumstances of life and see into the realm of the spirit. As we do, flood our hearts with peace that passes all understanding, and let that peace and rest cause us to stand up strong in faith. Even if we don’t understand what’s going on, we will trust you. Amen.
