April Targeted Devotional Prayers

Lord, thank you that you have given us the gift of peace. It is not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but your perfect peace which empowers us to courage.

I speak peace over myself and over my circumstances right now. I declare that my whole heart, spirit, soul and mind is always at peace.

I declare that any circumstance or situation that seeks to rob me of my peace succumbs to the power of perfect peace that resides in me. In Jesus name, amen. 

Jesus, thank you for drawing us together. For taking me into your chamber of love where I can hear your voice and you can hear mine. I know I am the object of your extreme love. You are always near to me and accessible to all areas of my life.

Thank you for overshadowing me with your pleasure. I love you. You alone are my love. I choose you. Over and over, I choose you. You are without equal.  

My desire is to arise and come away with you. Let me respond to your call to intimacy and closeness. I want to know you. Amen.

Jesus, you died to give us life, and life abundantly. We stand here today with hearts full of gratitude, thanksgiving and absolute hunger for more.

We declare we are not going to ever take your sacrifice for granted, and we declare we are going to take full advantage of the abundant life you died to give us. We are going to live a life overwhelmed. We want your fullness, we want your abundance, we want to be part of all that heaven is doing. 

We want double portions when the enemy comes to attack. We want to overcome; We want to defeat him. We don’t want to live a defeated life anymore. We want to live in awe and astonishment of you.

We want to know the glory of God. We want to see heaven come down and touch the earth. We want the fullness of the Holy Spirit. We want to be filled up to overflowing with all the goodness of God. 

We want to live a life that is outrageous, unprecedented. Full of joy and peace and laughter, full of warfare and fighting, and conquering and overcoming, and being victorious, because that is what you died to give us, and it is what makes your heart rejoice. We love You Lord! Amen.

Lord, we long to fulfill your dream. The dream about a community of people on the earth that are just like You: unchangeable, unshakeable, unstoppable.

We long to be a people who release the Kingdom everywhere we go.  We desire to be a community of people who look like you, sound like you, and act like you. 

We long to be ambassadors of You and the Kingdom.  We desire that you come and live in each one of us so powerfully that we could be the very model and example of who you are. When the people on the earth look at us, they would understand the very nature of God, because of what they see of YOU in our lives.

Holy Spirit, my desire in all opposition in my life, is to surrender to you, yield my emotions to you, and hide myself in your presence.  I often will react towards those things opposing me, but when I choose to first step into you and hide myself in you, I am surrounded by Shalom. Armed with your nature, I get your fresh perspective on what is happening, and come out armed with your direction and wisdom. 

Let me be so consumed with you, that my imaginations are settled in your perfect peace. Amen.
