May Targeted Devotional Prayers

Lord, help me to use every opportunity of life to step into your strength. I come with a surrendered heart to abide in you.

I come with an open soul - all my thoughts and emotions - to abide in you; to rejoice in you and all that you have for me in this season. My desire is to live so deeply in you that my soul prospers at all times. I want to abide under your shadow. Thank you for the strength that I will always find in that place.

I am rejoicing in you because I can use every circumstance to see more of your fruit of the Spirit, the nature of Jesus developed in me. More of your peace, patience, faith, and joy!

Thank you Lord!

Father, we thank you for giving us our friend the Holy Spirit. We are so grateful for his friendship. We are also grateful that he is the one who is so geared towards us becoming more and more like our Beloved Jesus.  

I love how he is the one who produces the nature of Jesus in us, how he is the one who produces his fruit of divine love in us.  I am so grateful that we do not have to produce the fruit of the Spirit. It is his fruit and he is the one who produces it in and through me. 

And I am grateful, because I know I cannot produce the fruits of joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control. I have tried. Now I just turn and yield to my friend and he produces the fruit I need at any given moment. 

Thank you Lord, amen.

JOY

Lord, thank you for producing fruit of the spirit in us.  We trust you and rely on you to grow the fruit in us.  Help us to continually abide in you, in all circumstances of life, so you can produce the fruit we need in and through us.

We want to live by the impulses of the Spirit to allow your fruit to be produced.  What great fruit you grow! Joy that overflows. Peace that subdues. Patience that endures. Kindness on display. A life of goodness. A faith that prevails. Gentleness of heart. Strength of spirit.

It’s your fruit, we simply believe in it, and receive it. Thank You Lord! Amen.

Lord, thank you for your peace, rest and stillness. Thank you that your peace and rest passes all understanding. 

My prayer is that your peace would take each one of us to a place where your presence so overwhelms us that our circumstances would diminish in power. 

In your peace let us experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit, that would be so strong, so profound, that we could be lifted above those things that are seeking to rob us of peace.

We choose today, the live by your impulses and respond to your peace and rest.  Amen.

Lord, thank you that you have given us the gift of peace. It is not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but your perfect peace which empowers us to courage.

I speak peace over myself and over my circumstances right now. I declare that my whole heart, spirit, soul and mind is always at peace.

I declare that any circumstance or situation that seeks to rob me of my peace succumbs to the power of perfect peace that resides in me. In Jesus name, amen.
