June Targeted Devotional Prayers

Lord, we thank you for your tangible presence manifested with a strong sense of peace.  We are grateful you never give us any gift that is fragile, but powerful and a weapon for breakthrough!  Thank you for your peace that guards my heart from predators.

Your sweet, secret place of protection is restful and full of grace for all my failures, doubts and fears.  Not only am I protected but I can hear your songs of rejoicing!  How amazing are you Lord?!  You rejoice when I am near, no matter what is transpiring in my life.  

Help us in all opposition, to simply step deeper into you, into your secret place; just to be with you. I am listening for your song!

Oh, thank you Lord!  Amen

Lord, I am weary.  You are the only one I can come to and receive everything I need for rejuvenation.  I am choosing to hang out with you in the heavenly realm where refreshing breezes blow.  Thank you for refreshing me, strengthening me and letting me rest in your arms where I am overcome with peace.

Thank you for washing over my weary soul (emotions and mental gymnastics) with your bubbling brook of relief.

My heart is turned towards you.  My affection is for you and I know yours is for me.  Your luxurious love is overwhelming and I cannot get enough!

I am serious about this life with you.  Help me to stay alert to all you are doing around me.  Give me your perspective, Lord!

Lord, I come to you today, knowing that your joy is my strength. I pray that you, the God of hope, will fill me with all joy and peace. I am so grateful that you, my exceedingly great joy, abides in me, and I abide in you. Hope lives in me. Joy lives in me. 

My joy is not tied to events or circumstance, my joy is tied to you. Lord as I face those things seeking to infiltrate my heart with anxiety, doubt, fear, stress and worry, I am asking you for an increase in joy. Fill me to overflowing with joy that has no limits. Your joy!

Holy Spirit, as we read this prayer, release your comfort so significantly that it crushes everything in our inner world that opposes it. Help us to sense your comfort so tangibly on the inside of us, and allow us to feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Comfort means to release strength to give hope and to ease grief, so I ask you to come into every heart and release comfort.  I thank you for walking with us through the good and the bad. That you walk with us on the mountain tops and through the valley.  Your commitment to us is never less than 100% because that is who you are.

Lord, take us to a place where your presence so overwhelms us that our circumstances diminish in power. Where your comfort would be so strong, so profound, that we could be lifted above those things that are robbing us of peace.

Thank you for always listening to us and responding so brilliantly.  Amen.
