July Targeted Devotional Prayers

Father, forgive me for my thoughts of self promotion and pride.  Thoughts that have me in any superior position.  Any thoughts that separate me from You.

Help me to live poor in the spirit.  Living in absolute, on-going, daily dependence upon You, every moment of my life.  My desire is to live in an intimate friendship with You, where our hearts are never separated, but in sync throughout life.

I am choosing to live with deep humility where character and integrity are a way of life, not a struggle.  Lord, I need your help!  I cannot be this without you guiding my every choice.  I surrender my opinions and human reasoning to you.

Thank you for walking with me on this journey of humility.  It is important to you, so it is important to me.  Amen.

Lord, I thank you for the opportunity of full surrender.  You say I can choose to surrender.  You have promised a safe, quiet refuge when I do.  I long to live in that space.  The space where outside clamor is silenced; anxiety and stress do not dominate or even have a voice!

You have conquered the world, so Lord, help me to live in the glorious world where all is conquered and submitted to you.  From this place, my soul will live in prosperous health!  The shaking external world will come under your conquered world and be at peace and rest.  

My desire is to be so engulfed in you, fully surrendered, that I live in your rewards of prosperity, honor and peace.

I love this life with you, Lord! Amen.
