May Targeted Devotional Prayers

Good afternoon Holy Spirit, We are grateful for Your presence in our hearts, and in our lives. Our prayer is to live in always increasing awareness of You. Holy Spirit, We love the way You love us when we’re not having a great day. We love the way You love us when we fail. Encouragement is Your native tongue. We love how You encourage us and come alongside us when our progress feels slow. 

We are grateful for the joy You explode in our heart. We rejoice in the intoxication of Your spirit. You radically release hope and clothe us with power so nothing impossible can successfully withstand us. We ask for a fresh burst of hope to flood our hearts and be released so tangibly that the negative impact of every circumstance would vanish in the power of Your grace. Holy Spirit, let the size of our hope crush the size of our problem. 

Holy Spirit, We are hungry for a fresh outpouring of Your spirit. Increase Your presence and Your fire in our lives. May we be closer to You than anyone has ever been. We pray for an enlargement of our hearts; Increase our capacity for You. We invite You in. We align ourselves with the outpouring of Your Holy Spirit that transforms us into the likeness of Christ. As we hang out with You this week, we ask You Holy Spirit to release in us a fresh infilling of Your presence. Take the lid off our heart and overwhelm us with Your affection. Come and do what You do best. Inspire our hearts to love Jesus at an even greater level. Amen.

Holy Spirit, You can’t help but show up in overwhelming affection when we brag about You; Even now You are engulfing us with the glory of Your presence. You are our precious gift, our direct connection to the heart of God. You are our teacher in all things, revealing the mind of Christ. You freely dispense good fruit and spiritual gifts; staying committed to our transformation into the likeness of Christ. You are our come-alongside friend, helping us navigate any situation. You are the spirit of truth, superseding our present reality with the higher truth of Heaven. You are our comforter, comforting us with a peace, rest and stillness that we can’t explain. You release joy and enthusiasm in everything You do.

Holy Spirit we are so in love with You, and our cry is that we want to know You more. We invite You to rule in our hearts, to teach us about all things, to reveal the highest levels of truth to us. Holy Spirit, we desire to live with an extreme consciousness and sensitivity to Your presence dwelling inside of us. We long to hear You, feel You, sense You and engage with You. Open our eyes so we may see You clearer. Open our ears so we can hear You clearer. We will not allow any other voice to overshadow Yours. We tune our spirit to the frequency of Your voice. 

To close, let’s make these declarations together: I hear the voice of the Father. I recognize the voice of Holy Spirit. I hear the voice of Jesus. I am a child of God and I hear Him. Holy Spirit I am so thankful for Your work in my life. Amen.

Holy Spirit we ask you right now to encounter us and increase our experience with all aspects of God’s nature.

You are not obsessed with our sins, You are obsessed with giving us life and life abundantly. Lord You have washed us from every willful devotion to disobey that springs out of a twisted or perverted thought. You have blotted out every time we knew the right thing to do but chose not to do it. You have cleansed us from every choice to offend. Renew in us today a heart that is pure. We choose to be Your sold-out Lover, captivated by Your grace more than our sin. 

Holy Spirit You are moving in our lives so powerfully, shifting paradigms in our heart so the obstacles facing us shrink in the face of who You are. We invite Your sudden breakthroughs in our daily reality. We embrace the wind of intercession that is coming fresh upon us. We enter the heavenly place You have reserved for us before Your throne. In this place we receive the refreshing waves of Your Spirit. It is in this place where our weariness disappears and You pour out Your favor, grace, mercy and blessing, for You are faithful and You are the God of Miracles. You are a BIG, BIG GOD. You are bigger than any disappointment we face, bigger than any opposition or problem confronting us. 

You are the God of miracles and we invite You to shower us with surprising and wonderful events caused only by Your supernatural power. The heavens are pregnant with blessings that You are anxious to release on us. So we say YES LORD; Unleash Heaven on us. In Your name we pray. Amen

Holy Spirit we honor you and we invite you to bring us into encounters and experiences with all parts of the nature of our beloved Jesus. 

We ask you to show us Your glory; Let Your goodness pass in front of us, let Your goodness be in us, on us and around us on all sides. We recognize goodness as a signpost for Your glory. This is who You are: You are good; Your goodness is neverending; Your goodness is so outrageous, so shocking that it has become the deeply rooted truth on which we have chosen to build our lives. We choose to never let go of Your goodness, no matter what our experience is, no matter what challenge we face, we choose to stay rooted in the nature and character of Your goodness towards us. 

You are slow to anger and quick to bless. You see good in us and acknowledge our worth - the treasure You yourself have created in and through us. We are so grateful for your immense, immeasurable, and eternal compassion that is always greater than our sin. We acknowledge that it is impossible to exaggerate your compassion. We invite Your mercy to overwhelm us and destroy all guilt and shame in our life. We invite Your grace to empower us to run the race before us today. We invite you to be our willing and able partner in everything we do. 

Overwhelm us today with your nature Jesus. Highlight the parts of Yourself you want to make real to me right now, in this moment. Reveal Your nature to me. We are forever being made into Your image as You make Yourself known to us.
