June Targeted Devotional Prayers

We are your great love. You have set Your heart upon us and overshadowed us with your love. You take our breath away and leave us undone. It is Your intention for us to know Your love more than intellectually. You want us to experience the reality that we are deeply, deeply loved and accepted by You. 

Joy is our continual feast in You. Our life is a prayer, continually giving thanks in the midst of everything. Joy and thanksgiving are the gates through which we enter Your presence. We indulge ourselves in You and You delight in us. 

As we wait for Your grace, we experience Your divine strength. We rise up on wings as eagles, we run without growing weary and walk through life without giving up. We will not be weary. We will continue to wait knowing You never disappoint. You have said to us: whatever things we ask You in prayer and believe for, we will receive them. We rejoice with You in the waiting.

We love being hidden in Your presence and abiding beneath Your wings. This is where we find peace, rest and stillness. This is where You fill our cup to overflowing with gladness as we delight in You. Our greatest place of safety is near Your heart. The enemy has no access to us when we are caught up in who You are. Our strength is to live in intimacy with You. 

You are the keeper of our souls and stand guard over us in the night watch. You are a wrap-around shield of protection from those things that would try to penetrate our minds and rob us of our peace and our sleep. No weapon formed against us shall prosper for You surround us. We break off any torment that would disrupt our healthy cycle of sleep and we pray this in the power and authority of Jesus’ name. Amen

Jesus, You are so on this journey with us. You are capturing and captivating our hearts; drawing us nearer and nearer and filling us with new levels of hope, trust and faith. You stun us with fresh encounters of Your radical love for us. You love that we trust Your goodness and You respond by showing us even more. We no longer walk by what we see, but we choose to trust that You are moving in all things and turning them for our good. You will never stop revealing Your goodness to us. 

Awake in us a holy zeal. There is a push from Heaven into Earth’s atmosphere and we are here for it. You have been saving the best for last. You are reconciling deep relationships. Restoring the cool walks in the Garden as we laugh, love and share life together. We are adopted into Your family and we relish our place as Your son and daughter. To be in your family is to be clothed in favor. You make a way for us, You make room for us and You back us up. We love being Your family.

Thank You for inviting us to Come on Up! We are Your great love and You will deny us nothing. We are rising up so we may see even clearer that we are Your beloved. You have set Your heart on us. We are deeply, deeply loved and accepted by You. Your favor rests on us. We are intoxicated by Your love. It is Your perception of us that will increasingly govern our heart. You have a mighty, all encompassing compassion for us. You understand our struggles, our weaknesses, and in Your great love for us, You have set aside an ocean of grace and peace for us. 

You are taking our hearts and healing and renewing us. You are freeing us from the bitterness of long days of waiting, from the grief and the mourning of long days of warfare. You have come to wash us and renew us in Your spirit. You have heard our pain and doubt as we’ve cried “how long Lord?” You are near to us right now and You are renewing our broken hearts. We respond to Your invitation and we choose to come on up into Your presence.

Song of Songs 2:13: Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.

From the Bridegroom to you: Come up higher Beloved. Come up higher. Come to the place of your elevation.  I am the One lifting you up.  I am lifting you to new heights. Let go and allow me to take you there. My indulgence is surrounding you right now. You are the seed of heaven and I am planting you in the soil of My heartfelt indulgence.

I am watering the seed of your heart with passion, and I am releasing within you right now wave after wave of My romantic love.   Allow it to touch you. Allow it to shape your destiny. Allow it to transform your heart. You are My great love and I will deny you nothing. So rise up, My Beloved, and see yourself as the supreme object of my affection.  I have set My heart on you.  Yes, you will be so astonished, overwhelmed and captivated by My radical love for you.  I want to take your breath away.
