July Targeted Devotional Prayers

We value Your presence God and choose to protect it. We give You the greatest place of honor in our heart, a place of deep and intimate fellowship. Our goal is to always increase our ability to discern and connect with Your presence as we train our senses to recognize You. 

We cherish our quiet times with You, dwelling in the secret place of Your heartbeat. Everyday we behold You, recognizing Your steady presence and turning our heart of affection to You. We practice Your presence through our daily tasks, knowing You never leave our side. We pay attention to Your whispers as You deposit creativity, solutions and answers to the questions we’re pondering while we’re spending time with You. We love it when You fill our mind as we daydream with You.

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to You Jesus. It is for freedom that You have set us free and it is Your love that rescues us. Thank you for taking us as Your own and lavishing Your love upon us. It is by Your grace that we are here today. You are not just our healer but You are the healer. You are not just our Provider but You are the Provider, the Source of all life. 

We remove barriers to fully surrendering to You. Our goal is to be trustworthy vessels to hold Your glory. There is nothing we won’t leave behind to come into greater levels of Your presence. We gladly leave more of ourselves behind as we release ourselves into intimacy with You. We abide in You that You may abide in us.

We were created and designed to live in Your manifested presence; to abide in Your glory. We steward the level of presence we are currently experiencing, knowing that is the key to discovering more dimensions of Your glory. You pour out Your spirit without measure so we choose to make space for You. There is no end to Your glory, You are limitless. We rejoice as You fill us to overflowing with Your presence. 

We present ourselves to You as a living sacrifice. We run towards You with an insatiable hunger for more. We offer You our heart, our affection, our friendship. We turn our heart of affection towards You and are determined to host the Holy Spirit well. We are aware of Your presence and choose to recognize You throughout our day as we call out for You to overwhelm us with Your affection. We lean into You.

We are your great love. You have set Your heart upon us and overshadowed us with your love. You take our breath away and leave us undone. It is Your intention for us to know Your love more than intellectually. You want us to experience the reality that we are deeply, deeply loved and accepted by You. 

Joy is our continual feast in You. Our life is a prayer, continually giving thanks in the midst of everything. Joy and thanksgiving are the gates through which we enter Your presence. We indulge ourselves in You and You delight in us. 

As we wait for Your grace, we experience Your divine strength. We rise up on wings as eagles, we run without growing weary and walk through life without giving up. We will not be weary. We will continue to wait knowing You never disappoint. You have said to us: whatever things we ask You in prayer and believe for, we will receive them. We rejoice with You in the waiting.
